Ocean Park

Ocean Park Hong Kong is the most famous theme park in Hong Kong. This place was opened since January 1977. It’s located in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island. The main mascot is sea lion named Whiskers (or known as Wai Wai in Chinese). There are so many side activities you can do in here, such as dining and shopping. Also prepare For Its Heart Thrilling Roller Coaster, Dizzy Spinning, Space Wheel,Raging River,Mine Train,Eagle,The Abbys,Ferries Wheel,The Dragon,Drop Off Your Lung Game And Many More.

We arrived at Ocean Park and one of their staff took my camera and told us to pose. I was surprised by how intrusive the staff was of our space but he said that he only wanted to take our picture using my camera. He also took a picture using his camera and gave us tickets to claim it at the booth near the entrance.
When we got to the booth, another staff offered us key chains with our pictures on it. We were amazed at how fast the processing of the key chain and pictures were. But our parents didn't bother asking for the price because they knew how theme parks are when it comes to prices of their souvenir items.

Later we walked around the park and for the first time in our life we saw live pandas at the Giant Panda Adventure to see the panda bear named ‘An-An’

We also took the cable cars to reach the other side of the park (located on a higher ground and it is where all the rides are located). It is recommended to take the cable car ride as the view is spectacular.

We didn’t know the cable car ride was really scary and exciting at the same time.
Mama was holding on tight to the pole inside the cable car because of fear of heights. It was a long 10-15 minute ride too.
train ride to the headland.alternative ride for those who don't have the guts to ride the cable car.
There are so many things to experience here as well. You can go and see the Sea Jelly Spectacular and be transported into a world filled with sea jellies. You’ll surely be astonished by their wondrous colors and glow-in-the-dark graceful forms.

We rode the Oceanpark Tower wherein we saw views on the different sides of the island. At 72 meters above the ground, the viewing room rotated and we realized that the construction going on is still something to look forward to. They still have a lot in store for their guests which makes me wonder how the park will look like when everything is finished.
We grabbed some lunch as it was about 2pm. We hadn't watch any shows while at the park as they were always on when we are a mile away from them.
Pacific Pier, the highest place in Ocean Park. This is the place where you can see the seals and sea lions.
Then check out the Atoll Reef where so many fish species including Sharks are studied.

Take a break....

Daredevils can try out the heart-stopping Headland Rides and Adventure Land Rides like the Abyss Turbo Drop, The Dragon, Flying Swing, The Eagle, Crazy Galleon, Ferris Wheel, Mine Train, Space Wheel, and the Raging River.definetly not us.........

swimming

So another day for swim lessons...and we did much better today, after a long break almost for 2 months that are before ramadan and syawal. Once again, it was super cold...and cikgu Haffiz said that we are half way to master our freestyle. It even started raining during the lesson. *Arg* but who cares.....However, we really did better than our previous class, so if we can keep up that trend, we'll be in good shape!

KLIMS 2010

KL International Motor Show

Also known as the KLIMS 2010.

We went to PWTC for this mega motor show event on the first day itself on 3rd December, 2010. It was our first time visit KLIMS.We spent a grand total of 2 hours at the motor show… a tad disappointing… this may be we are not car enthusiasts. If only they had more halls & cars to checkout.we are expecting they would display more imported car .But it was a very good experience.

So yeah, apart from the cars, the models/showgirls were part of the attraction of the event as well and No motor show is complete without beautiful, sexy models.
here’s some photos we have took of the event.

the 2 major highlights of the show were the Batmobile and Bumblebee from Transformers…the main reasons why we really want to visit KLIMS. BIG BUT.....WE HAVE TO PAY TO TAKE PHOTO WITH IT
On display was the Chevrolet Camaro (and the robot it turns into) from the Transformers movie

The batman vehicle
the BATMOBILE.. what the hack is that? a lump of styrofoam with black paint sprayed over it. the 'black' isnt even BLACK at all!! its faded black.. more of a grey-in-color.We have to pay to take picture with the batmobile as well....
