SITI In Fantasyland

Yesterday ,(29.12.2010) we get a chance to watched siti Di Alam Fantasi Teater.According to our mama, it has been staged before ,around 1998. She watched it at Matic, Ampang. Our big bro(fitri) still a baby back then. Now, we had a chance to watched the same teater with her.

Practice loving all the time, you will be remembered all your life" is favorite quotes from ct di alam fantasi. Our mama still remember the lyrics of that firefly songs.

We followed a rich but arrogant little girl named Siti who was sucked into a fantasy world with her servant in search of her family missing "geliga" or precious gem.She met a myraid of weird characters like a talking tree , Raja Lipas , Raja Katak, sesumpah, mermaids, fireflies, caterpillars in her journey.Siti learned about self-sacrifice, friendship and humbleness. At the end of her journey she also got herself a prince.

The props and backdrops are beautifully and dramatically done. we had a chance to snap a few picture during the cast introduction.

That little girl is one of the fairy, she's only 5 years old.....

We enjoyed the show very much, We really do. We really hope to watch it again! but papa said we"ll see. and we know very well that means NO.It's like a tradition to us to watch teater twice before ,unfortunately this year tak dak rezeki, la...........Two thumbs up......

Star Kids Fair 2010

27 Nov 2010, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center: We went to Star Kids Fair 2010 after reading so much from the newspaper. But,we felt it was a big disappointment.
We went on the first day, and arrived at about 10.45am. There was a lot of people standing near the entrance. Apparently, the organizers did not open the door because they were waiting for the VIPs to arrive.i.e. the first lady

Well, the expo is supposed to open its door at 11am . Everyone stood there not knowing what is happening. At about 11.45am or so, everyone starts to "boo" and turn around. A few minutes later, we realised that they open another door for us to go in.Almost everyone had go in but papa said since we had waited for almost 1 hour might as well we waited for a few minutes.so we had a chance to meet our first lady in person.:)

The exhibition area is quite small. Not much things to see:{.Smart kids is way much better.

The best part is that we manage to buy our school bags from swan that only cost us rm1 for each bag.:)

Boring....let's go home ....

madame tussauds

When we was in Hong Kong recently, we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

Born: 1-Dec-1761
Birthplace: Strasbourg, France
Died: 16-Apr-1850
Location of death: London, England
Cause of death: unspecified

we are not sure why but most people enjoy being able to identify well known figures of politicians, film stars, famous men and women and past historical figures. Many love to pose for photographs with them, us included! Our passions now and forever who else - MJ !!!!!

A popular photograph spot is with the Royal family. Who would decline to have a picture taken with Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. After all it is not often you get an audience with Her Majesty, the Queen of England.

Madame Tussauds is located at Victoria Peak, the highest point of Hong Kong at 554 meters (1,817.6 feet) above sea level. Victoria Peak is the perfect place to see Hong Kong after dark with its multi colorful lights. A visit to the Lion Pavilion will give you a spectacular view of Victoria Harbor and Kowloon Peninsula.

Everyone's favorite is of course those which grace the movie screen. They are the glamorous stars of Hollywood, Bollywood and Hong Kong's glamor world. Doesn't Nicole Kidman look great in wax?
Who is she ????

Bruce lee- the martial arts expert who made the term "kung fu" known to the world
A Moment With Einstein

Everyone knows him.....MAHATMA GANDHI Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, The Father of India

Mama is much much much more beautiful than her , pa........

Beautiful- Princess Diana. The Royal Family of England.

The champion- Tiger woods
Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein
Anita Mui and us in action
Hollywood celebrities
The wax museum was fun. It was really kind of eerie how real some of the statues looked. Again, this was just a smattering of photos. There were so many more figures, but if we showed you pictures of all of them, we'd be here all day. :)

movie

We had watched tons of movies throughout December 2010.

Rapunzel- Tangled
We was very sketchy walking into this movie. we didn't know what to expect. We was kind of irked at being dragged to a 'princess' movie by our mama .we really thought it's a girlssssss movie but We was pleasantly surprised,by the humor sure to make us laugh. The movie was GREAT and enjoyable.

Malay movies : both are hilliarious, worth watching.....

gulliver travel
Very dfferent from the original novel, this adaptations has many additions of course as it has been modernized. In the original novel, there's no girl or any modern things like a Coke can, GPS and other things. But in short it's very very very funny....like it.:)))))

the tron legacy
We have never seen the original 'Tron', nor do we really know much about it really so to us it fantastic.

Harry Potter and The deadly Hallows : Part 1
Overall we enjoyed this movie very much. If you’ve been watching since the beginning, you will be very happy with Deathly Hallows. As long as you remember that you are essentially seeing half of a movie, this should make the wait until Part 2 next year a little more bearable. We grew up with the series, and as per the actors, it will be an emotional goodbye. But rest assured, the finale will be grand. We watch this movies, TWICE!!!! It is “Wingardium Leviosa” to the highest level, “Expelliarmus” all the bad factors, and it surely won’t be “Obliviate” for a long time. It will be “Lumos” brightly till the end. Can’t wait to see that flat-nosed monster being defeated at the end!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
We saw the 3D version, our mama hates it.she said wearing another glasses really make herhard to breath. The story starts when they get transported from the small room, via through the painting which shows a mast of a huge ship over the horizon of a towering wave. Soon they are collected on board to be introduced to a now very pure and crisp accented British Caspian . Here they all set out on finding the swords of the seven lords . We think the film is slow ,we like the previous movie better , but still enjoyable .

disneyland

We think the visit to Disneyland Hong Kong was the most exciting part of our Hong Kong trip. Our mama were so much more enthusiastic than us and we don’t have anything against that. Disneyland is one of the most sought after destinations in the world. It’s a fun place where kids can visit fantasyland and where adults have the chance relive their childhood. Our mama is the biggest fan of the disney princess , it just she don't have a daughter.can imagine if she had one....

Tickets

We wandered down Main Street USA, taking every opportunities for a photo with the characters that once gave us so many laughs as a child growing up. Posing with Goofy and Pluto before having a laugh with Donald as he rubbed my little bro' Azrai stomach, was embarrassing and hilarious at the same time.but most of all we love being with Mickey and Minnie.
Our favorite disney cartoon charaters - toy story
More pics......

Next up was Tomorrowland, where we rode on the indoor roller coaster at space mountain it was very scary. we decided not to ride it ever again......
You can also take in the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster challenge before heading over to the Orbitron where you pilot your own flying saucer high above Tomorrowland. while having so much fun in the blaster , papa told us that he lost his handphone .Oh ! man. are you kidding , pa.He said it must had been fell off during the roller coaster ride.Straight away, we went back to the space mountain ride and ask the guys that work there.and guess what, they found it and return it back safe and sound.oh! what a BIG relief.......

Autopia borders next to Tomorrowland and while it sounds cool, jumping in a car that all you can do is press down on a pedal to move around a pre-determined track was more a way to sit and relax for a few minutes than anything else. It was FUN.......
Then we headed to Fantasyland which is where the fabled castle resides. Aimed more at the younger generation with the Mad Hatter Tea Cups and Cinderella’s Carousel, it was fun to watch so many children having the time of their lives including us.

Next up was It's a Small World. So fun! We love how they changed a lot of the decorations/people etc to reflect winter and Christmas. And we loved the Hong Kong scene! It was so accurate! All of the tall sky scrapers get totally decked out in Christmas lights during the holidays, and they are so fun to look at!

Adventureland then treated us to the “Festival of the Lion King” theatre show, a Jungle River Cruise and Tarzan’s Treehouse that gave great views of the park.
The parade
Catching the street parade first was a sight worth seeing before we darted in and out of the shops trying to find that one great Disney souvenir to take home with us.We bought lots of stationery sets.
Just before 6:30pm, we made our way back to Main Street to see the tree lighting. We were able to get a pretty good spot close to the tree. It was really cool. There was also caroling before the tree lighting, and it started snowing! So fun!
A pic of the snow... If only it were real!!

big fireworks display in the evening.

Now for the best part – The fireworks display in Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at 7pm in the evening.
Go towards the Castle at least 30 minutes earlier, find a seat facing the Castle, have some snacks while you wait for the Fireworks to start, and enjoy the show!
Nestled down on the floors that leads to the castle, watching the sky light up and the castle sparkle to life.

After two days we could safely say we saw Disneyland Hong Kong . In the end we had our photo taken with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, isn’t that every Disney kids dream?
Phew. Finally we managed to put it all together and share our HK Disneyland experience with you all!
- The weather can be a little unpredictable, especially if you plan to visit HK Disneyland during Christmas. we personally recommend wearing your clothes in ‘layers’, so you can always wear your shirt when the day is sunny and the breeze is cool, and put on your jacket / sweater when it gets chilly at night!
